The eligibility criteria to get admissions into the M.Tech course at SMIT Sikkim Manipal University differ according to the specialisation. For some of the M.Tech specialisations, the institute grants the admissions on the basis of merit, and for others, the institute accepts the scores of GATE and the Manipal University Entrance Test. However, the basic eligibility criteria that are similar for all offered M.Tech specialisation are that candidates must complete their BE/BTech degree in a related field and must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% to 55% and 45% for reserved category candidates.

The eligibility criteria to get admission into BTech courses at SMIT Sikkim, Manipal University is candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category). Moreover, for some of the BTech specialisation, candidates who have Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Chemistry, etc., are also eligible to apply.
Further, the institute accepts the scores of entrance examination for admission to BTech courses. SMUT accept the valid scores from any of the following; JEE/ MET/ SMET (SMIT Entrance Test).

The basic eligibility criteria required for admissions to the BBA course at SMIT, Sikkim Manipal University, is that candidates must complete their Class 12 in any stream with at least an aggregate of 50% marks. If candidates have secured 60% in their Class 12, they are eligible to enroll in the course, and there is a chance that they will get admission.
However, this is not definite if the candidate has secured 60% in their Class 12, so they will definitely get admission to the BCA course. Because the admission is based on merit, and the institute offers a limited number of seats. Hence, there is a chance that candidates with higher sc

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology offers a BCA course for a duration of over three years and integrated courses for a duration of over four to five years. Further divided into six, eight, and ten semesters. The eligibility criteria to get admissions into any of these courses are candidates must complete their Class 12 from any stream with at least an aggregate of 50%.

The eligibility criteria for admissions to BSc courses offered at SMIT, Manipal University is different according to specialisation, likewise, for admissions to BSc in Physical Education & Sports, candidates must qualify Class 12 from any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate from respective boards of education.
