Eligibility for B.Sc. in Forensic Sciences
The basic criterion of eligibility needed to be met for admission to the course is a Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized educational Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and/ or Math as main subjects and a minimum aggregate score of 55%.
However, a few private universities in India conduct their own entrance tests for evaluating and admitting students to the course.
B.Sc. in Forensic Sciences: Admission Process
Admission to the course is based on the candidates performance at the 10+2 level. Institutes offering the course admit students based on whether they meet the minimum, set cut- off scores at the 10+2 level. A few institutes however, shortlist students based on their performance in an additional entrance test conducted at their own level.

Bachelor of Arts in Sociology is an undergraduate sociology course. Sociology is the study of social relations, social stratification, social interaction, culture, etc. Broadly, B.A. (Sociology) degree course is the study of society. The degree course mainly covers the study of some of its specialized fields namely Applied Sociology, Comparative Sociology, Cultural Sociology, Collective Behavior, Crime and Delinquency, Community and Demography. Bachelor of Arts in Sociology is three years duration course.

Sociology is the subject in which students study about society and its diversity, culture, religious belief, language and many more related to society issues. This is not so much tough subject which requires background of arts stream. One can go for Undergraduate course after 12th from any stream. There is no specific need of stream and if students from other stream goes into this then no big problem is faced by them in their course time and if students take this subject sincerely then he or she can score good marks in civil services exams also.
Admission in this course is quite easy. The student who has scored more than 50% marks overall in class 12th are eligible for taking admission in this course. There is no age limit. Some colleges take their own exam for selecting students, such as BHU, JNU, Tezpur University, Allahabad University, Patna University and according to the rank and marks in their exams these education body gives admission.
