MMU Solan Bsc admission to nursing courses i.e., BSc and GNM is made through an Entrance Examination conducted by the MM University while admission to rest of the BSc specialisations is based on marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination in Class 12 in the medical stream.

Absolutely, you can pursue an MBA after completing a BSc at MMU Solan in any field as the primary eligibility criteria to pursue an MBA is primarily a bachelor's degree in any stream with minimum marks established by the university or the college, as well as entrance test scores and work experience.

Candidates seeking admission to the BSc programme in any of the specialisation must meet the MMU Solan BSc eligibility criteria mentioned below:

GNM

Class 12 preferably Science with PCB subjects and English with 40% aggregate

Registered as ANM with the State Nursing Registration Council

Qualified in Class 12 Arts or Science or Health Care Science-Vocational stream only conducted by NIOS with 40% aggregate

BSc Operation Theater Techniques/ Medical Laboratory Technology/ Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology/ Medical Biochemistry/ Optometry/ Dialysis Technology/ Medical Microbiology

Class 12 in Science stream with five subjects including English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50% aggregate (45% for candidates who belong to SC/ ST category)

Maharishi Markandeshwar University conducts its own entrance examination for admission to the nursing courses which include BSc in Nursing and GNM. Else, admission to all the other specialisations is entirely merit-based on marks secured in Class 12 examination in medical stream.

Maharishi Markandeshwar University follows the seat reservation policy. MMU Solan BSc seat reservation policy states that seats are distributed in the ratio of 25:75 for state quota and management quota candidates. Apart from that, 15% of the total seats are reserved for NRI candidates.
