National level entrance examination like CUET, JEE Main, MHT CET, PERA CET, GATE, etc. are accepted by Somaiya Vidyavihar. The eligibility for class 12 candidates is a minimum of 40-55% and graduates need 55% to be eligible. The basic application process for CUET is to visit the website of CUET, fill the application form, download the admit card, appear for the examination, check for results and appear for CUET Counselling.

Candidates are first required to apply for KJ Somaiya Institute of Management admissions. The institute considers Management entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. for MBA and Executive MBA programmes. For MCA, candidates must pass PERA CET or MAH MCA CET or CUET-PG for admissions. The institute also considers other parameters such as academic performance, PI, WAT, etc. for final selection.
