BTech is one of the most popular programmes offered at KJSSE Mumbai. The college offers the BTech programme in over 10 major programmes such as Computer Engineering, Electronics & Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Business Systems, among others. The BTech programme offered at KJSCE is a four-year programme with a credit-based system. Students can also earn additional credits and acquire an honours or minor degree along with their BTech major degree. The college provides numerous options in its honours and minor programmes for BTech students. K J Somaiya School of Engineering Admission Process and Dates 2025
The mode of K J Somaiya School of Engineering is online. The admissions are both merit-based and entrance-based. The college offers various programmes, including BTech and MTech. For admission to its BTech programme, candidates must have passed HSC/ or its equivalent exam from India, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject,s along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% aggregate in all the aforementioned subjects when taken together to be eligible for the KJSSE BTech admissions. The college accepts several entrance exams, such as JEE Main, MHT CET, CUET, PERA CET, and SAT, for BTech admissions. Candidates must obtain a non-zero score in the qualifying exams.
The MTech admissions are based on several eligibility criteria and GATE/ PERA CET/ CUET scores. The KJSSE admission process begins with an online application form. Interested candidates must fill out the online pre-admission form available for the respective courses on the official website of the college.
