Apart from the academic and accommodation costs, students must also pay an annual registration fee of around €300 (INR 27,000) to the Irish Immigration Department upon arrival in Ireland.
The fee is taken in form of tax for the facilities provided by the Irish government to its residents and is mandatory to be paid by all students wishing to pursue higher studies from the country.
Note that the registration fee may change every passing year.

SETU doesn't own private accommodation centres of its own. However, it does provide a dedicated platform to contact landlords offering rental accommodations near the university campus in Carlow.
Students can also choose to stay at privately-owned student apartments, by contacting the centres through the university platform.
The centres are located at a walking distance from the campus and are well connected to different corners of the city thanks to the public transport network.
