What kind of student visa would you require to study in Spain depends upon the duration of your course and stay in Spain. Students from India will have to apply for a Schengen Student Visa if their programme lasts less than 90 days. But in case the length of your course exceeds 6 months, you will need a long-term student visa. After obtaining the long-term visa you can pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate course. You will be able to remain in Spain till the time their course is ongoing.

Ranging from a few weeks to some months, the visa processing time varies for every country. How soon would you be able to obtain a Spain Student Visa will depend upon when you're applying for the same, your home country, how much occupied is the embassy in your country, etc. Students are recommended to apply for the visa much before their departure date comes near. It is a good idea to start with the application procedure as soon as one obtains an offer letter from a university of your choice.

However, if you're looking for a broader, more prestigious global network with higher-ranked programs, especially in entrepreneurship, technology, or international business, IE University may be worth the additional investment.
