SSUS BA seats for each course shall remain as per existing regulations, except in case of open courses for which there shall be a minimum of 15 students and maximum of 75 students per batch (subject to a marginal increase of 10). Each student shall register for the courses in the prescribed registration form provided by the University in consultation with the faculty advisor who then shall permit registration on the basis of the preferences filled by the student and availability of seats in the programme.

First of all St Teresa's College which is autonomous institute present in Ernakulum, Kerala offers 23 UG and 11 PG programs and provides admission to girls students only. On the other hand, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit which is a public institute located in Kerala itself aims at providing Sanskrit and Indology studies.
According to NIRF report of 2022 the median packages of both the universities are as follows:-
- The median package for UG 3-year course in SSUK was INR 1.80 LPA whereas it was INR 2.04 LPA in STC.
- The median package for UG 4-year for SSUK was INR 3.00 LPA whereas in STC it was around INR 2.10 lpa.

Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit which is present in Kalady, Kerala is one of the pioneering sanskrit universities in teaching, research and innovations.
According to NIRF report, the median package offered in the year 2032 are :-
- Ug 3-year (B.A.)- INR 1.80 lpa
- Ug 4-year (BFA)-INR 2.00 lpa
- Pg 1-year - INR 3.50 lpa
- Pg 2-year -INR 2.50 lpa
The placement percentage is very good it varies between 65-70 percent. Some, companies that come here for placements includes NGO's, social welfare organisations and private hospitals like Save the childern, Kerala Social Security mission, etc.
