SSUS BA admission dates have not been announced yet by the University for the academic year 2024. However, according to the 2023 data, SSUS BA deadline for submission of application forms will be tentatively in June and SSUS BA Cutoffs will be released tentatively in July.

Candidates who want to apply for SSUS BA scholarships are required to submit the application for scholarships along with the attested true copies of qualifying certificates, to the University through the Heads of the Departments/Campus Director within 15 days from the date of admission to the programme.

SSUS BA admissions are both merit and entrance-based for some of the specialisations. While admission to most of the specialisations is merit-based, The University conducts an aptitude test for admission to BA Music and BA Dance (Mohiniyattam/ Bharatanatyam) courses followed by an Interview.

Candidates seeking admission to BA at SSUS in any of the specialisation must meet the minimum SSUS BA eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board recognised by the University can apply for admission to the BA programme. Student of Sanskrit/ Non-Sanskrit stream are eligible for admission to the BA course. The maximum age limit of candidates should not exceed 22 years as on 1st day of June in the year of admission.

SSUS BA seats for each course shall remain as per existing regulations, except in case of open courses for which there shall be a minimum of 15 students and maximum of 75 students per batch (subject to a marginal increase of 10). Each student shall register for the courses in the prescribed registration form provided by the University in consultation with the faculty advisor who then shall permit registration on the basis of the preferences filled by the student and availability of seats in the programme.
