For majority of the programs, admission is done through National level entrance examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology formerly known as SRM University or authorized /statutory boards or agencies. For few programs admission is done directly. The SRM University conducts their own entrance exams for Direct Admission in SRM University 2023 Engineering and Management Courses I. e. SRMJEEE and SRMCAT respectively.

Yes, you can apply for two different B.Tech courses in SRM for two different campuses using separate application forms. 2023's admission will take place via 12th marks and SRMJEEH entrance examination, the application for which began in November 2022. The examination is to take place in 3 phases: April(21-22), June(10-11), and July(22-23).

Officially SRM University never published the cut-off for specific branch and campus but as per previous year and current trend CSE in kattankulathur campus has been given to top 3k to 3.5K rank holders of SRMJEEE
