SRM TRP Engineering College is hard to get, it totally depends on your academic qualifications, the branch of engineering you want to study, and the admission quota you are applying. The college accepts students through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) counseling process. In the TNEA counseling process, students are ranked based on their Class 12 marks and are assigned seats in colleges based on their rank and preference.

For MBBS, candidates must apply for NEET UG conducted by NTA. Admission will be based on the qualifying marks obtained in NEET UG. For MD/MS programmes, admission will be based on the qualifying marks obtained in NEET PG. For DM and MCh programmes, admission will be based on NEET SS conducted by NBE.

NEET MDS Last Round cutoff for admission to the MDS courses has been released. As per the SRM University MDS cutoff 2025, the NEET MDS closing ranks varied between 4511 and 10404 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. So, yes, a student with a NEET MDS rank of 5000 can get admission to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. However, the students have to wait until the last round, as the cutoff ranks might be more competitive in the initial rounds.
