 SRM Institute of Hotel Management is one of the various departments under the SRM Institute of Science and Technology which is ranked 19 under the University category by NIRF 2022. SRM Institute of Hotel Management is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). SRM Institute of Hotel Management offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and other courses to students across the Hospitality Administration, Hotel & Catering Management, and various other streams.

The SRMJEEM 2025 Phase 1 exam for the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) will be held from April 22 to 27, 2025. The exam will be held in three phases.

As a popular programme, SRM IST BTech is offered for the duration of 4 years, across 40 specialisations along with part-time BTech courses in four specialisations.  Some of the offered course specialisations are Civil Engineering, CSE, Mechanical Engineering,  Aerospace Engineering, etc. SRM University BTech admission is subject to a valid score obtained by the students in Class 12 and SRMJEEE (conducted by the deemed-to-be university). SRM IST ranks 4 by Outlook 2023 under the Engineering category, proving it to be a good institute to pursue BTech from.

SRM IST MBA is one of the popular courses, offered in PG level, for the duration of 2 years. The Institute offers MBA based on minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation and valid scores of accepted entrance exams such as MAT, CAT, NMAT, CMAT and equivalent others. As per the last placement record, SRM IST recorded an average package of INR 4.5 LPA to INR 5.1 LPA. SRM IST MBA Ranks 4 as per the Times 2023 rankings, proving for it to be worth pursuing MBA from. 

SRM IST offers BTech as a 4 year UG level programme. The Institute offers BTech in various specialisations such as Civil Engineering, CSE, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering etc. SRM University BTech admission is subject to a valid score obtained by the students in Class 12 and SRMJEEE (conducted by the deemed-to-be university). Therefore, it is optional for the candidates to appear for JEE Main. However, candidates must appear for SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE).
