The selection of the candidates via SRMJEEE is done for admission to SRM Group institute campuses located at Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli), Delhi NCR (Ghaziabad, UP), SRM University - Sonepat (Haryana), and SRM University, AP (Andhra Pradesh).

The candidates who appear in SRMJEEE are given ranks as per their performace in the test. The candidates with SRMJEEE ranks have to then proceed to fill their choices of SRMIST campuses and courses. Based on the SRMJEEE ranks of the candidates, choices filled by them and the availability of seats, admisison is given to the candidates.

Yes, SRM IST Chennai offers an online MBA course. It is a two-year programme divided into four semesters. SRM online MBA admission is done based on CAT/MAT/GMAT/GRE score. The selected candidates are called for personal interview round. To be eligible for the online course, aspirants must hold a valid bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate. Moreover, the course aspirants with work experience and having qualified in either of the accepted exams are exempted from the university entrance test.
