PTE exam is based on integrated skills testing (especially in the Speaking and Writing skills) which makes it different from the other English tests.

This means that while other tests like IELTS assess both these skills in different sections using methods (human examiners tests the speaking skills on a different day than the main exam day), the PTE exam assesses both these skills altogether in a single sitting, in 1 single section. Both these skills are assessed in integrated tasks.

Yes the PTE exam fee amount of ₹18,000 includes the 18% GST tax. You don't have to pay anything extra unless you book late. This is same for all over India.

Yes, absolutely. You must bring the original Passport. Copies or other ID like Driving License are not accepted for PTE in India. If you forget passport, they send you home.

Yes. With the new One Skill Retake, you can take just one part like Reading or Writing. The IELTS retaking fee is INR 12,000.

No worries. It is normal to miss 1–2 days while TOEFL exam prepration. You can adjust the plan and keep going. Just don't skip the TOEFL practice tests in the last 2 weeks.
