Applying to the University of Queensland is not a difficult task but it requires great effort on part of the applicant. The students are required to apply via the official admission portal. Look at the UQ application process given below-
- Register and create an account on UQ Applications
- Select Start an application and then apply now
- Complete the application with personal details and the programme of study
- Submit the application by paying the UQ application fee of AUD 150 for both UG and PG courses

To apply to the University of Queensland, international students need to submit certain important documents. Those include the academic documents like the transcripts, the copy of the passport, GMAT or GRE score card, IELTS TRF and more.

The students can apply for two semesters at the University of Queensland which are semester 1 (February) and semester 2 (July).
International students are advised to apply early, as the seats for UQ admissions fill really fast.

For international students, there are 2 main intakes at the University of Queensland. They begin in the months of February and July per year. These two intakes are considered the major ones when most of the UQ courses get available for students to apply.
International students should start applying for all the UG programs in semester one. The university starts accepting applications a year in advance, also for honors and PG courses.

To get into the University of Queensland, international students are required to meet the academic requirements, like having a good GPA or a percentage. These students would generally need -
- A minimum of 75 to 80% in Class 12th for UG courses
- Around 4.5 GPA on a scale of 7.0 for the PG level course
Other than the mentioned requirements, Indian students are also required to meet the English language proficiency requirements.

The minimum IELTS scores depend on the level an international student is applying for at the University of Queensland. However, to become eligible for most of the UQ courses, the students would generally need an overall IELTS score of 6.5 and a 6.0 in all the other strands which are Reading, Listening, Reading and Writing.
