Admission in BCom is not completely merit-based. Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce Pune, shortlists the applicants based on their scores in the last qualifying exam, i.e., Class 12 or equivalent exam. Further, the shortlisted candidates have to clear an interview round after the release of merit list. Final selection or seat allotment for BCom at Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce is done after the interviews. Selected students can finally submit the required fee amount to confirm their seat.

SCAC Pune was established in 1983 and is affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University. It is ranked 22 for Humanities & Social Sciences by India Today 2021. The college offers UG, PG, and Diploma courses to students across various streams of Arts and Commerce. The college is accredited with A+ Grade by NAAC and is approved by UGC.
