- Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%

No direct admission is generally not possible in the SIMC Pune MA programme. To get admission into MA at SIMC Pune, candidates have to have a graduate degree as a minimum eligibility requirement. Moreover, candidates have to clear the selection round conducted by the institute. The PI contains 50 marks, and the WAT contains 50 marks. The total weightage is 100 for the final merit list. After this round, the institute releases a merit list to declare the names of selected candidates.

Candidates wanting to get admission to the SIMC Pune MA programme, have to be eligible for the programme. One needs to have a graduate degree in any stream from any recognised university/college with minimum 50% marks (45% for the reserved category). Those who are eligible for the course can apply from the institute's website. The admission window opens from November to February.

Anyone with a graduate degree having a minimum aggregate of 50% marks is eligible for the MA programme at SIMC Pune. No entrance exam is required to get into this course. Students just have to clear the personal interaction (PI) and written ability test (WAT) rounds. Those who are waiting for their graduation results are also eligible to register for the course.

The registration forms generally open in November and close in February. The candidates should be eligible for the course before applying. Students who want to apply for the course have to wait for the window to open again for the next session. The institute takes the PI-WAT test for the final selection of the candidates.
