TNDALU Chennai eligibility criteria is the same for all the five-year law programmes. The minimum qualification required for admission is mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria: Aspirant should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 70% aggregate (60% aggregate for reserved categories). 

Candidates fulfillling this criteria can apply for the TNDLAY five-year Law courses - BA LLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), and BCA LLB (Hons). In addition, it is also necessary that the candidate hold the qualifying exam pass certificate during application form filling and at the time of admission.

No, there is no entrance examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University for admissions. The students are admitted to the offered programmes based on their performance in the last qualifying examination. For admission in TNDALU Chennai, aspirants must fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Admission to all the offered courses is done based on merit in the last qualifying examination. When comparing just the tuition costs, NLSIU is noticeably more expensive than TNDALU. The cheaper hostel costs at TNDALU, however, somewhat make up for the disparity. Living costs are much more in Bangalore than they are in Chennai. Considering all of these variables, NLSIU's overall tuition for undergraduate programmes is probably more expensive than TNDALU's, however specific scholarship circumstances may differ.

TNDALU Chennai has two  options for admission to B.Sc. programs, each of which has its own cut-off points. A student must have secured at least 50% of the possible marks in all subjects and must have passed the compulsory 10+2 courses in mathematics and physics  to gain direct entry.
