The majority of TNDALU Chennai's programmes do not take entrance exam results into account while determining admission. The only factor used in their selection procedure is the candidate's score on the qualifying exam. The qualifying 10+2 or equivalent test is the basis for selection for the 3-year LLB degree. The minimum mark required for General category applicants is 70%, while for SC/ST applicants it is 60%. The All India Merit Rank (AIR) in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is used to select students for the five-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree.

TNDALU Chennai has two options for admission to B.Sc. programs, each of which has its own cut-off points. A student must have secured at least 50% of the possible marks in all subjects and must have passed the compulsory 10+2 courses in mathematics and physics to gain direct entry. The approximate cutoffs for general category should be 95%, for OBC category the cut off should be 90% and for SC/ST category the cut off should be 85%. The eligibility standards for B.Sc. At TNDALU Chennai relies upon on the unique application you are inquisitive about. The students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a diagnosed board with relevant topics relying on the selected B.Sc. Application. Most applications like Applied Chemistry, Physics, or Zoology require at least 50% marks in Science topics (PCMB) in 12th grade.
