Currently, SASTRA Chennai admission is not open. As per external sources, the last date to apply for BTech courses was Jun 24 and Jun 14 for the integrated law programmes. Candidates can visit the university official website for more information on the admission schedule.

SASTRA University MBA admission is based on a national-level entrance exams followed by a Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the university. In order to be eligible for this programme, students must have completed their Class 12 and undergraduate degree in the relevant stream. The entrance exams considered for admission, include CAT, XAT, AIMAT, CMAT and AIMCAT. Those with a valid score in one of the afore-mentioned exams are eligible. Admission to the BSc (Hons) courses offered at Amrita Coimbatore campus is through the Amrita Entrance Examination – Life Sciences, Agriculture & Medical Sciences (AEEL). Candidates are admitted further through a centralised seat allotment process (CSAP). Additionally, it is also necessary that the course aspirants meet the eligibility criteria.
