He cannot get admission in VIT-Vellore campus as students should have less than 1,00,000 rank to get admission in Vellore, Chennai and Amravati campus. Your son can get admission in Bhopal campus.

I would suggest you to go with VIT, if you get a seat in CSE and can afford, As VIT is ranked No 1 private Institute by Indian Government 4th time in a row. Coming to placements and curriculum wise it's really excellent. There are top placement record for CSE students offering more than 40L by companies like Microsoft.

You cannot get admission in CSE, but other branches are available for you like electrical, mechanical, civil etc. Even you can try for information technology. Best of luck.

Only 5 subjects marks are included for cutoff or you can say eligibility criteria for NIT iiit admission. Taking 3 main subjects + 1 language + 1 extra subject.

Students who wish to pursue M.Sc and MA programs must hold a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from a recognized board. For admission to Integrated B.Sc + M.Sc program, candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects.
Admission to PG courses available in the college will be granted based on Merit in the Bachelor's degree examination.
