The salary package depends on the company and for the post recruitment is going on, but still in SRM following companies came for placements in recent years and following were the packages:

Hostel fee is around Rs.1 lakh and may change. Only limited single rooms are available.Other rooms are of double occupancy. Madurai climate is moderate and is far better than Chennai. No extremities of heat or cold in Madurai.

IFMR is one of the premier B-schools in India.The ranking of IFMR is increasing every year and also it's average salary. as on 31st December 2016. The average salary of the batch passing out in 2017 is Rs. 9 LPA and the highest package is Rs. 18 LPA.

IIT-Madras and NIT-Trichy are the first preferences of any student in Tamil Nadu. More good colleges are VIT, PSG College of Technology, SASTRA University, TCE-Madurai, CIT , Karunya University, SCT Salem, etc.

There are lots of colleges and deemed universities in Chennai and Hyderabad. But, why stick to only these two cities? Of course, if this is your aim then so be it. However, general rule of probability will apply, meaning as you restrict choice, you have to work hard to get a better ranking as only better ranking can take you to your goal.

It's not a reputed university and doesn't have a proper placement cell in the university. So, I would not recommend you this university.

You need to get above 230 marks to get admission.
