Hello,
Veltech University has some good study abroad programmes which you can make some great use of during your final semester. Apart from that, it's pretty much like most of section 3 deemed universities.
You'll surely find some great professors, but there are many faculty members who don't know what they're teaching.
The lab modules are really bad, you have to mug up the experiments and depending on your luck solve the lab exams, which mostly depends on how friendly you are with the lab assistants, which I'm sure is the case in most of the engineering colleges around India.
What you will take back after 4 years of engineering may not be

Sathyabama University is one of the prominent universities in Chennai area. It is known for its discipline. Teachers are well qualified and have a vast knowledge in their respective subjects. Also, they are helpful and you can ask your doubts anytime.

If you have applied for VIT Vellore, it doesn't matter if you are talented or you can qualify any entrance exam, there is a huge difference in applying and clearing.

With this rank, it is quite difficult to get computer science. So, I suggest you to think about another branch if you want to take admission in VIT such as EE or chemical engineering.
