TANCET

The authorities at the TANCET exam centre will not allow any late comers to appear in the TANCET exam. Applicants appearing for the exam are advised to arrive at test centre at least 60 minutes before the exam commencement time. Officials at the TANCET exam centre check the identity of the candidates before allowing them to enter the test location. Candidates should enter inside the TANCET exam centre before the GATE closing time. Besides the late entry, officials at the exam centre do not allow the candidates to leave the exam centre before the schedule time of exam conclusion.

Candidates need to choose an exam city from the applicable cities situated in Tamil Nadu. Candidates do not get an option to choose any city of their wish. The choice is to be made among the cities appearing in the drop down while filling TANCET application form

Candidates can add the test city preference while filling the application form. The application form has a drop-down to choose TANCET exam city. Candidates will be allotted a test centre within the city chosen while filling the form.

Candidates must not carry any prohibited items inside TANCET exam centre. Candidates can carry admit card, a valid photo ID proof, and basic stationery matrial. Any kind of electronic gadgets are banned inside test centre.

No, candidates must carry a printed copy of their TANCET admit card to the exam centre. A digital copy of the TANCET admit card will not be accepted at the exam centre. Officials at the test centre will check details on the TANCET admit card and a photo ID proof.

Candidates must choose one exam city while filling the TANCET application form. An exam centre will be allocated within the preferred exam city.

TANCET application fee may or may not change across exam sessions. The application fee for TANCET was revised previously. Earlier, candidates had to pay INR 400 if they belonged to reserved categories and INR 800 if they belonged to unreserved categories. However, the fee for all categories was hiked. Unreserved categories had to pay INR 1000 and INR 500, respectively. Since the exam fees was revised in the recent session, Anna University is unlikely to change the same again. However, the application details along with the TANCET registration fee is to release soon.
