Admission Process:
Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
Eligibility Criteria:
A student must have at least a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

Sec A: General awareness is compulsory for all (25)
Sec B: Teaching Aptitude is also compulsory for all (35)
Sec C: Exercise of the choice of the group according to his/her eligibility qualifications is the responsibility of
the candidate. The candidate appearing for the B.Ed entrance test will have to choose only one group and
will have no option to change his subject group if once allotted. Choosing subject group not commensurating with eligibility will disqualify the candidature at any stage. Choice once exercised is final. All the questions will be based on under graduate level of concerned subjects as per UGC
The subjects offered for section C are:
1. Social Science (40) (history, geography, political Science, economics)
2. Language (40) English Hindi Sanskrit)
3. Physical Science and Mathematics (40) Physics Chemistry mathematics)

To do B.Ed, IGNOU is there. To do this, you have to apply for its entrance exam. As you know that in IGNOU i.e. Indira Gandhi National Open University, you do not need to do regular class, because their course is distance education course. IGNOU B.Ed. Programme is a very good medium, which can fulfill your dream of becoming a teacher. Distance education means studying from home. You don't have to take classes in college, you just have to go for exams. Whatever course you take admission in, its syllabus and study materials will be sent to your home by postal parcel. There may be classes for a few days in which you will have to attend but you can attend these classes at your nearest study center. Educational Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate should be 12th class pass from recognised board. Candidate must have completed his graduation from recognised college. Candidate must have secured 50% marks in graduation. In whatever subject you want to do B.Ed you must have studied that subject in graduation.
Age Range:
The minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years. The maximum age of the candidate should be 35 years. There is also a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit in any private college. The duration of B.Ed course has been fixed for two years, you can do B.Ed through both distance and regular mode, but the fee for both the courses is different, the course fee for regular classes is around 50,000 to 70,000, and distance Fees are less for those who do, if you are in B.Ed Govt If you do it by the institutes then you will have to pay less fees. The fee for two-year B.Ed. Is Rs 32,000 per year, while the fee of four-year B.A. B.Ed. For 9 colleges has been fixed at Rs.18500 per year and Rs.20,500 for B.Sc. B.Ed. Hope it helps.

Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. The minimum educational qualification for admission to the course of B.Ed is B.A. B.Com or B.Sc. Degree from any recognised board or university. For admission to this course, one must have at least 50% marks in graduation and at least 55% aggregate score at post-graduate level for admission to colleges. Universities and colleges conduct entrance exams for the selection of candidates on the basis of their performance in entrance exams, most of these exams are conducted in the month of June or May. The duration of the B.Ed course is of 2 years during which there are any 4 semesters which are necessary for teaching in the secondary I. e. class 6 to 10 and higher secondary I. e. class XI and XII divisions.
