Hello, If you want to become a lecturer or researcher, then you can apply for CSIR UGC NET exam. As you have done M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering you can appear in CSIR NET Physical Science. B.Ed is Bachelor's of Education can be offered as a regular as well as distance course. The course specifically caters to the students who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching and related fields. You can find various universities that offer B.Ed via distance and regular mode. For example popular universities for distance course are Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu and for regular course, Delhi University.

As per general eligibility criteria, you should have at least 50% in either graduation or post-graduation to fill up the entrance exam form to be conducted by JMI. So, you are eligible.

Hi,
Candidates who wants to take admission need to complete graduation and Post-graduation with 50% and for those who has done B.Tech, B.Sc and B.Sc Mathematics with 55% can apply.
For admission in B.Ed Course, it is essential that in graduation at least two subjects out of- Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Biology, Maths, History, Home-Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Social-Science, Economics & Commerce and one subject out of the aforementioned subject in class 12th.

Hello Reddysekhar,
The UGC NET and CSIR NET exam are held to determine the eligibility for assistant professor posts in university & colleges. The major difference between UGC NET and CSIR NET is that CSIR NET exam is held for Science stream candidates while UGC NET exam is held for other stream candidates. The minimum eligibility to apply for the UGC NET Exam is that you must have post-graduation degree with more than 55% marks from recognized university. The candidates are allowed to apply for their post-graduation subjects only.
