If you want to take admission in IGNOU for B.Ed, this percentage is not sufficient, because minimum percentage required for B.Ed is 50% for general and SC/ST 45% but you can apply for MA. For that, percentage doesn't matter.

After completion of M.Sc or when you are in final semester, you can apply for UCG NET. As you are in just 1st year means you are not eligible for UGC NET at present. * Eligibility criteria :-
You must score 55% or above marks in M.Sc. To become eligible for UGC NET if you are General and OBC Category candidate. If you are SC/ST category then you need only 50% marks in Post Graduation. So you can start preparing for UGC NET from now and please make sure that your percentage in according to UGC NET rules otherwise you will not be eligible for it. If you want to do B.Ed, first of all, you have completed your graduation. Then, you can apply for B.Ed but if you want to primary teacher. So, you can do PPT or BTC after 12.
