Hi Sruth, The candidates must have Master's Degree recognised by U. G. C. Candidates having Post Graduate Diploma/certificate awarded by Indian University/Institute or Foreign degree/Diploma/certificate awarded by the Foreign University/Institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their Diploma/degree/certificate with Master's degree of recognised Indian Universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi (www.aiuweb.org)

Choose a stream of your interest. If Science, then go for B.Sc. Go for B.A. for bachelors in arts.
If politics is the interest then opt for Political Science/ Economics/Sociology.
B.A. is also a great option if you are looking for MBA after graduation.

If you are preparing for the UGC NET Economics Exam first of all you need to complete the Post Graduation from Economics from the recognised University with atleast 55 % marks for General Category and 50 % marks for the Reserved and Female Category Students
