Hi. You can pursue M.Ed through regular or correspondence course from IGNOU.The candidate needs to have completed B.Ed. with a minimumof fifty five percent marks. Also the candidate need to have a two years teaching professional experience after completion of B.Ed program in a Government/ Government recognized school/ NCTE recognized teacher education/ research institution in education.

Exam pattern of JRF is as follows:
Total question paper: 1
Major subject-groups: 20
question pattern: 75%
Questions from Major Subject Group + 25% Questions from General Agriculture
Question type: From Q. (1) to Q. (150) will be Multiple Choice type questions (MCQs) with four answer choice and from Q. (151) to Q. (160) will be Cross-Matching type questions (MCQs). Total Questions: 160 (150 MCQs + 60CMQs) Maximum marks:650 for each major subject-group paper. making rules:
1. For each correctly answered MCQs = 4 (four)marks
2. For each correctly answered CMQs = 5 marks (1 mark for each correct pairing)
3. For each incorrectly answered MCQs= - 1

Candidates having Post Graduate Diploma/certificate awarded by Indian University/Institute or Foreign degree/Diploma/certificate awarded by the Foreign University/Institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their Diploma/degree/certificate with Master's degree of recognised Indian Universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi (www.aiuweb.org)
