The NET exam is conducted in three phases (one paper in each phase). The Paper-I consists General Aptitude Questions and the other two papers, Paper-II and III contains questions related to the concerned subject. You need to refer to good books specified by UGC that may help you to clear your basic concepts and logics as well as cover whole syllabus.
Prepare short notes as they will help you to quickly revise what you have learned.

You can apply but in the management seat. CET counseling takes place in September. Exam is held in July only.

You are advised to do M.Tech to become a teacher in an engineering college or Polytechnic. To become a professor, you may plan to do Ph.D.

A B.Ed is a comprehensive qualification for becoming a regular teacher.Teachers without B.Ed are placed at a disadvantage. To understand teaching methodology, B.Ed is a highly desirable qualification.

Yes, you can apply. The degree of full-time course and distance course are equivalent.

I would like to suggest you that first of all you try for doing a Masters that is M.Com. After doing it, prepare for NET exam, it will make it easy for you to get a job as a teacher in any Junior College.
