Hi Srinivas,
It depends on your career interest. If you are interested in continuing on the technical side then you may look at doing masters from abroad and get into a technical architect role. And if you want to take a management role, then go for a 1year MBA from any reputed management college in India or abroad. Post MBA you would have lot many roles to choose from.

The idea is still being discussed and it will catch up soon. We may however think of a super-speciality and always want to confine our major course of study and excel in it.

Hi Nikitha, the above answer is a slice of reality. Obviously there are quite a few B-schools that offer excellent management programmes in both Hyderabad and Bangalore! Most institutes listed above are good and have their own pros and cons. I would suggest you shortlist a few based on recent awards, recognitions, placement information and quality of faculty.
Finally, you need to be convinced that you're interested in an MBA and you really desire to excel in an elective or field of your choice that's present in the course. You need that clarity and the willingness to work hard at a B-school in order to be an achiever.
All the best.

You can definitely choose Mumbai, Delhi or any good metro city as compared to Kanpur. You have better options and training opportunities in metro cities.
