Textile Engineering

Textile Engineering has attracted nearly best placements. The packages are great with the highest package goes around 12 LPA. Some top Organizations like Siemens, ABB, Ultratech Cement, Asitya Birla Cellulose, Raymonds, Pantaloons, Bharat Forge, Hindustan Copper, Aditya Birla, Reliance Oil and Gas, etc. And numerous others come to campus. The percentage rate is almost 95% for textile engineering. The college also provides stupendous internship along with stipend ranging from 10,000 to 1,20,000 per month, although Textile students get only about 20,000. The internships duration is mostly around 2 months to 4months on average. VJTI is known for its academia and widely reputed as ranks in top 25 colleges in India. The diverse set of students bring peer learning at its best and also alumni support is great.

The academic is well arranged and accepted in may deemed and prestigious universities and colleges of world. Although, the textile engineering is a relatively new and leas opted branch. In India, there is no wide scope and even requirement for textile engineers and the same is reflected in the placement session. The average placements are around 5 Lacs and the highest being upto 10 Lacs which is though not affordable in the IITs. Although the branch has 100 percent placement companies, but the work field is not that much interesting. Hence most of the students, after graduation opt for the jobs and then resign from it. Then, they start teaching in IIT coaching and the future get limited upto there.
