The admission process for MBA courses in both universities is almost similar. Firstly, students need to graduate with a percentage of 50% to 60% (Assam University) for being eligible. After that, the two universities collectively consider the scores of any one of the following entrance tests: CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT, CMAT.However, Assam University accepts other scores of management entrance examinations too. Therefore, it is hard to compare which university is easier to get admission into MBA course. To get an exact idea about how much competition there is to get enrolled in the MBA course, they can compare the Tezpur University

For B.Tech programs, Tezpur University (TU) generally offers a stronger overall academic and research environment, with better infrastructure and placements. Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) might be a better choice if you're specifically seeking an engineering-focused environment, with potentially better placement opportunities in that area.
