At Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology (TPGIT), the selection criteria for B.E./B.Tech programs are determined by the candidate's performance in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling. Merit-based admissions decisions are made using the grades earned in Class 12 (Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics).
