The JEE Main cutoff ranks are what we expect among the General category to take the placement into Mechanical Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET). As to Other State (OS) quota, it is commonly within 41,681 and 78,847. The anticipated range of the Home State (HS) quota goes further to reach about 140811 to 291238. They are grounded on past years trends and have the ability to rise and fall based on issues such as the difficulty of exams, the supply of applicants, etc.

There are different scholarship opportunities in Thapar University depending upon the JEE Main scores, the score of the 12th exam, and the family income. Although no special scholarship exists, a "Gujarat domicile" scholarship, there is a chance that you can be considered for their regular scholarships. You will have to apply to them directly to Thapar scholarship application process through special criteria they have on the income and academic performance, and usually no other procedure is needed to get the Gujarat Freeship Card.

No, CAT is not compulsory to get admissions into the MBA course at Thapar University because the university accepts several other entrance examinations too for admission into the MBA course, such as MAT, SNAP, XAT, etc. Therefore, CAT can be considered as one of the accepted entrance examinations for admissions to MBA courses. However, it is not compulsory.

While preparing cutoffs for the Thapar University BTech course, the authorities will consider examination and admission-related factors. The listed factors will be checked and considered by the authorities while determining the cutoff of the Thapar University BTech course: previous years' cutoff trends, difficulty level of the exam, total number of qualified candidates, total number of candidates applying for a specific course or institute, number of seats available for admission, etc. After checking all of these factors, the authorities will prepare the Thapar University JEE Mains/ NEET cutoff.

While comparing VMSB UTU and TIET Patiala based on parameters of BTech tuition fees, VMSB UTU is a more economical option for pursuing a BTech course. The fee for the BTech tuition at VMSB UTU ranges from INR 1.1 Lacs to INR 7.2 lakh, which is much more affordable compared to TIET Patiala's BTech tuition fee, which ranges from INR 10.4 Lacs to INR 19.6 lakh. However, it must be noted that the mentioned fees have been taken from the official website and are still subject to change.
