Thapar University offers four specialisations for MSc courses. The names of the specialisations are MSc in Biotechnology, MSc in Mathematics and Computing, MSc in Physics, and MSc in Chemistry. However, such candidates have to submit their undertaking at the time of counselling stating that they are applying at their own risk, as their result of the final exam has not been declared, and ensure that they do not have any backlogs in previous semesters. Thapar University cutoff 2024 has been released for PGDM course through NMAT exam. To get into Thapar University, the required cutoff score for the open category candidates stood at 150 in 2024. As per the Thapar University NMAT cutoff 2024, the last-round cutoff for MBA in Finance course stood at 150 for admission to Thapar University for the General category students in the All India quota.
