Candidate, who wishes to withdraw from the seat before the commencement of the session must submit the refund form to the admissions team, LM Thapar School of Management, Derabassi campus or email the department. The fee will be refunded after adjusting all the outstanding dues, if any. The criteria of the fee refund policy for the MBA course at TIET Patiala are as follows:

The eligibility requirements for admission to the MBA course at Thapar University and LPU are almost similar, in which candidates are required to complete their graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% to 55%.
- Selection criteria for MBA at LPU: LPUNEST/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT + GDPI
- Selection criteria for MBA at Thapar University: CAT/ NMAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ SNAP, followed by PI.
Thus, the admission process for the MBA course is similar in both universities. The only difference is in some of the accepted entrance exams.
