Manipal School for Information Science and Thapar University have basic student facilities, and admissions are based on the JEE Mains Ranking. Both the institutions are equipped with modern facilities, clubs and placements. However, a few points might help you decide which one is better. However, one of the features that Thapar Institute has is that the average package offered at Thapar University is around INR 7 INR, the highest being INR 42 LPA, which is somewhat more than that of Manipal School for Information Science.

The following are the requirements to be eligible to apply to Thapar University for a B.Tech/BE degree: completion of 10+2 coursework in Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational Subjects with an aggregate grade of 60% (55% for SC/ST applicants). Obtaining a Class 12 Diploma in 2022, 2023, or 2024.
Students must receive at least 20% (15% for SC/ST) in JEE (Main)-2017 in order to be eligible.
The cutoff scores for Thapar University's B.Tech programme in computer Science and engineering in 2021 were 95.67 for a fourth category, 96.67 for a third, and 98.67 for a fourth.

Yes, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication in Aizwal is a reputable university for students studying mass communication. Nevertheless, it only provides two post-graduate programs: the Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media and the Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism English. The Post Graduate Diploma programs last for a full year.
