The college has a safe living community that offer a great balance between the needs for privacy and connection and residence halls for community engagement. Getting into Evergreen State College is not difficult. Students should have a high school Diploma with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or equivalent. The college offers its students an optional test policy. Applying test optional removes the requirement for SAT or ACT test scores. In place of test scores you will submit a 300-500 word essay. Results of English proficiency tests must be submitted by foreign students for whom English is not their first language. The college operates on a rolling admissions basis, allowing students to apply at various times throughout the year.
