The George Washington University (GW) has enrolled approximately 3,700 international students from different countries. More than 120 nations and six continents are represented among them. International students at GW are fully integrated into campus life and qualified for a variety of merit-based financing possibilities, just like their American counterparts. During an academic semester, international students are permitted to work part-time for 20 hours a week.

Yes, The George Washington University offers scholarships and financial aid to international students. Some of them include- Presidential International Scholarship, Presidential Academic Scholarships, International Engineering Scholarships, International Baccalaureate (IB) Scholarship. They also offer a You Are Welcome Here Scholarship since 2019. This is a full-tuition, renewable scholarship which is granted to two international undergraduate students.

For undergraduate admissions, most candidates do not need SAT or ACT results, but applicants must have a high school Diploma or an equivalent.
International applicants must submit their results from English language tests like the TOEFL or IELTS.

Currently, the following individuals must still submit their SAT or ACT scores:
Those who choose to enroll in the expedited seven-year B.A. or M.D.
Candidates who are homeschooled.
Candidates who attend high schools that donot use a formal grading system and simply offer narrative evaluations.
(Test is optional for admission periods 2021–2023). Most candidates do not need to take a test to apply to GW as recruited NCAA Division I athletes. When assessing each application, they use a comprehensive method. There is no minimum GPA or SAT, ACT requirement for applicants who decide to submit their standardized test results.

Following are the first year tution fee for the courses mentioned:
MS (3 courses)- INR 24.9 L - 28.4 L
MIM (3 courses)- INR 26.4 L - 39.1 L
MBA/PGDM (2 courses)- INR 45.5 L - 52.3 L
BBA (1 course)- INR 48.6 L
For, MS in Finance (STEM) and Global MBA the first year fee is INR 39.1 Lakhs and INR 52.3 Lakhs, respectively.
