The ICFAI University, Tripura

The ICFAI University, Tripura offers Merit Scholarships to students pursuing B.Tech programme. These scholarships are based on performance in 12th (or its equivalent) or ranks achieved in JEE Main or Tripura JEE and Semester wise performance during the B.Tech programme. Scored 90 percent or above in 12th or equivalent (only regular mode) or JEE Main Rank less than 30000 or Tripura JEE Rank less than 1000: Rs 60,000 scholarship
Scored 80 percent or above in 12th or equivalent (only regular mode) or JEE Main Rank 30001 to 40000 or Tripura JEE Rank 1001 to 1500: Rs 40,000 scholarship
Scored 70 percent or above in 12th or equivalent but less than 80 percent (only regular mode): Rs 20,000 scholarship

The eligibility criteria of MBA course of ICFAI University, Tripura is given below.
Eligibility : Pass in Graduation in any discipline with 45% and above aggregate marks (5% relaxation will be given to SC, ST, OBC candidates).
Final year students awaiting results can also apply. Candidates fulfilling the above mentioned eligibility, need to appear for the ICFAI University Tripura Admission Test followed by GD / PI for their final selection. Candidates having valid scores of CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT are exempted from appearing in the ICFAI University Tripura Admission Test.
Special Reservation: There shall be a special provision for admission of applicants belonging to the State of Tripura in any course of ICFAI University, Tripura or in a constituent college, affiliated college, regional centre or study centre within the State of Tripura, which shall not be less than 25 (twenty-five) per cent of seats in each course/discipline subject to the applicants meeting the minimum qualifying requirements referred to above.
Course fee per semester : Rs 60000 (Domicile)
So from above CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT are not mandatory. You can take admission here through ICFAI University admission test.
