For information about M.Tech at NIE Mysore, the candidates should have a BE degree with a minimum 50% aggregate. The reserved category students can also apply with 45% aggregate marks. Admission is entirely merit-based on PGCET, GATE, or KMAT performance. Management Quota seats also adhere to the KEA stipulated eligibility criteria.

Admission to M.Tech at NIE Mysore is through Karnataka PGCET, GATE, or KMAT scores. Shortlisted applicants have to attend counselling organized by KEA. Applications can also be submitted directly at NIE Mysore through Management Quota. Seat allotment is category and availability as per merit.

Yes, But consider this also-

local placement is decent, teaching is decent, overall exposure/brand is Not as Esteem-able as BMSCE/MSRIT/Amrita.

For vibrant city life, internships, coding culture, and good placements, MSRIT or BMSCE Bangalore CSE is an excellent choice.
  
In relation to the highest packages and national ranking, Amrita Coimbatore CSE is great if you don't mind a peaceful disciplined campus.

NIE/JSS Mysore are decent options if you don't mind Percentages and comparing to the numbers of 'big company' placements to some of the Bangalore Colleges above.

NIE Mysore is an eminent Engineering institute located in the culturally-rich city of Mysore in Karnataka. India Today is one of the many renowned ranking bodies that has ranked the BE programme offered by NIE Mysore. As per the available data, in 2024, the institute was ranked #16 in the 'Engineering (Private)' category. 

Apart from this, the institute has also been ranked by NIRF. As per NIRF Rankings 2024, the institute stood at #151-200 under the 'Engineering' category.

As per NIRF Rankings 2024 for the Engineering category, NIE Mysore's BE programme ranked #193. Earlier, in 2023, the institute was positioned #151-200 under the same category. Upon comparing both year's rankings, it can be said that the institute has been able to maintain a stable position.
