As per some unofficial sources, The Open University UK acceptance rate for Indian students is around 87%. This show it is not very diificult to get into this university. So students who meet admission requirements and submit application on time have high chance of admission.

If you mean Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, Group Discussions (GD) are mainly conducted for management/MBA admissions, not for most regular undergraduate programmes.

For the 2026–27 admission cycle, GD & PI are specifically part of:

  • MBA (Sectoral) programmes at UIAMS, Panjab University.
  • MBA at University Business School (UBS), Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana, where GD & PI are also conducted.

Yes, students are allowed to transfer credits of the last 16 years at the Open Uni in UK. To do this, they will need to apply for credit-transfer.

The application can be made to the official email id of OU. Students will need to provide the below list of documents along with the application:
