The University of Edinburgh

English is the language of instruction for the majority of the programs at the University of Edinburgh. All international students are required to demonstrate proficiency in the English language. The minimum English language requirements for international students are:

International applicants are required to pay an application fee for processing their application form at the University of Edinburgh. The application fee at the University of Edinburgh for international students is GBP 27.5 (INR 2,886) who are applying via UCAS, meanwhile, the application fee for postgraduate programs is zero. International students can pay the application fee online via their credit card.

The GREAT scholarships 2024 is a scholarship campaign launched by the British Council’s Study UK Campaign. Under this campaign British Council is offering more than 150 scholarships in collaboration with UK universities, including the University of Edinburgh, to students across 18 countries around the world. GREAT Scholarships awards a tuition fee deduction of GBP 10,000 (INR 10.49 L) from students’ tuition fees.
