Some of the degree programmes are more competitive than others because the University of Edinburgh receive more applications than the places available and therefore the university have a low acceptance rate. The overall acceptance rate of the University of Edinburgh is 11.02% in 2024. Competition for places can vary by tuition fee status and may be very high where places are limited. The University of Edinburgh typically admits between 15 and 20 students in BA (Hons) Animation each year which means the acceptance rate of this course is approximately 3% - 6% (2024).

While the specific University of Edinburgh placement is not disclosed publicly by the university. As part of the University of Edinburgh application process, taking the GRE is not required. However, other admission requirements are there which are mentioned below: 

Admission requirements for UG courses:

  • CBSE (Class 12th): Total score of 80% with 75% in three subjects,  consisting of English.
