Yes, international students may have a tough time getting into the University of Liverpool as its acceptance rate is only 24%.
This would mean that only 24 students were selected out of every 100 who applied. But the students should not be discouraged by this if they meet the given criteria -

If an Indian student has received a CAS from the University of Liverpool, they should then apply for a UK student visa. This process can take time. The university suggests applying 3 months before the programme starts.

The time for replying to an application is different for each department of the university. And, many students describe this process as fast.
Liverpool University tries to send out the application results within a few weeks and there have also been cases when the students have received the admission decisions within a few days as well.
On average, UK universities take around 2 to 3 weeks to send decisions.

Yes, not only there is a September intake available at the University of Liverpool, it is also the most famous. The reason behind it's popularity is that both UG and PG programs open this time.
The applications for this intake open much earlier and Indian students should be make any special arrangements because test prep and the UK visa processing takes time.
For UG, UCAS portal shall be used and the admission deadline for the same is Jun 30, 2026.
