University of Winchester is one of the top universities of UK. It is ranked #112 in UK and #711 at global level. The university is known for it's high placement rate which is 91%. Winchester university offers various courses at UG and PG levels to Indian students under majors such as Humanities, Social Sciences, Business, Law, Sports, Education, Health and Wellbeing etc. Apart from this, the university is located at a favorable location, making it easily accessible for international students to travel to other parts of UK via public transport.

For the Winchester International Scholarship, students must have an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, including at least 5.5 in the writing element, or a TOEFL iBT score of 79 overall, including at least 18 in the writing element for postgraduate taught study. The university also offers the Become Scholarship, which is allocated to new entrants who meet and maintain a series of eligibility criteria, including academic achievement of at least BBB+ or above at A level (or equivalent) and achieve an average mark of at least 60% at the end of each year of study.

Yes, an average Indian student can join the University of Winchester. Students who have completed 12th grade with scores between 50% and 70% will be considered for foundation courses. Successful completion of a suitable one-year UK Foundation course (normally minimum 60%) or International Baccalaureate (minimum of 24 points) is required for undergraduate courses. All students applying for a Masters degree (MA/MSc/MBA) at Winchester should hold a Bachelor's degree (Honours) or have 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
