Chances are slim, since the MAT score is low. I would advice him to still apply. If he has a reasonably good 10th, 12th and Graduation score, he can be called for GD-PI. If he performs well there, then he might even be selected. Hope for the best.

You being in top 10 doesn't guarantee you the the best job with the best package. Sometimes, it has been seen that students who have got very high grades could only crack a job with an average salary, while students who had arrears got the higest salary. As I have said, it all boils down to how you perform in the interview day. Grades are just an entry ticket for you to apply for the job, as a few companies demand above 7 CGPA, or a student should have no history of arrears, etc. So, getting good grades doesn't guarantee you a good job. It's how you perform in the interview is all that matters. Have a decent CGPA, and you're good to go

College will arrange for your Summer Internship, no worries there. If you have an outside source and wish to get an Internship on your own, you can also do that, by informing the Dean. The company should be reputed, and has to be approved by the college.

No other companies came from abroad except Khimji Ramdas. No particular reason why they didn't come.

No international offers were received by the last batch. However, for the 2012-2014 batch, a student got placed in Khimji Ramdas, in Muscat, Oman, and they offered a package of 14 lacs per annum.

You have to take a share auto from there. Otherwise, walking would take 20-25 minutes maximum. No shortcut, straight road.

As you said, we have a Cafeteria, which is run entirely by the students. We have a Stationery shop and Xerox centre, which is a lifesaver! We have many places for you to hang out with your friends, or get close to nature. Also above the common mess, there is a Dance hall, which is alternatively used for important functions.
