Candidates who qualifies the eligibility criteria as per the TISS Mumbai admission guidelines are eligible for the all the programme offered by the institution. No, TISS is comparitevely better then KJSAC because:

  • The placements in TISS are very good compared to KJSAC
  • The highest package is 20lpa in TISS where as in KJSAC 4lpa
  • TISS is a Deemed university
  • TISS offere more courses around 172

No, KJ Somaiya College is not expensive compared to TISS Mumbai because:-

  • The fee structure for M.A. programme in KJSAC varies between INR 20k to INR 50k per year whereas in TISS the fee varies from INR 30k to INR 100k.
  • The additional fees is also more in TISS compared to KJSAC.
  • There is around  INR 10k to INR 20k difference in additional fees.

Preparing for the TISS entrance test syllabus will not be as tough as you think if you are already preparing for other Management entrance examinations like CAT, XAT or GMAT. 

The only thing required is consistency for one month, syllabus is quite similar to other entrance examinations for management programs. 

Here are a few things to keep in mind to cover your TISSNET Syllabus in one month : 

• Solve the previous year's question papers, there is never a major change in the pattern of questions. You should solve at least past 5 year question papers to be familiar with the time management and question framing strategy

No, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), in Mumbai, is not more expensive than the National Institute of Management and Research Studies (NIMR).

As per the fee schedules of both establishments, the two-year full-time MBA programme at NIMR costs approximately ?8.5 Lacs in tuition, while the same programme at TISS costs approximately ?10.2 lakhs. Furthermore, depending on the type of accommodation, NIMR charges about ?20,000 for hostel accommodations, while TISS charges between ?30,000 and ?40,000.
