The online registrations for TNEA 2026 will start in May 2026. The TNEA counselling process includes several steps: candidate registration, certificate upload, allotment of random numbers, verification, release of the rank list, choice filling, seat allotment, confirmation of allotment, reporting to the College/TFC, and payment of fees. All of these steps are conducted online, except for the certificate verification, which must be done at the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions Facilitation Centre (TFC).

SKCT Coimbatore admits students to its various BE/BTech courses via TNEA Cousnelling. Thus, TNEA counselling process becomes a key event for the SKCT admission process. TNEA 2026 supplementary counselling will be held in September. For TNEA counselling the applicants are grouped based on their rank and each group of applicants is allowed to participate in counselling according to their turn. TNEA 2026 counselling will have 4 rounds. The applicant has to login into the TNEA portal by using his/her user ID and Password (same as that used at the time of registration) for performing various activities in a particular round.
